Wallkill Salt Barn

Client: Town of Wallkill, NY

MHE Engineering provided structural and civil engineering design for the 5500-ton salt storage facility.  The design parameters included a salt and sand mixing area, high bay space capable of allowing an inside tractor-trailer dump, and an under roof loading bay for dispatched plows and salt truck.  MHE Engineering also provided construction observation and administration services.
